Colombia's Africa

The Eastern Plains of Colombia are one of the most unknown and fascinating regions on the American continent. An ocean of grass stretching to the horizon, crossed by winding rivers and home to wildlife that rivals the best national parks of Africa.

During 5 days at Savanna Orinoquia Ecolodge, we head out on horseback at dawn and dusk in search of caimans, anacondas, capybaras, pink river dolphins, giant otters, capybaras and more than 400 bird species. A first-class photographic safari in the heart of the Orinoquía.
